Aide international et consolidation de l’Etat en République Démocratique du Congo : Quelle contribution de l’association internationale de développement au State Bulding ?

Abstract:

This article analyzes the contribution of the International Development Association (IDA) to the State Building process in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). In a context marked by institutional fragility, persistent conflicts, infrastructure deficits, and difficulties in mobilizing domestic resources, international aid plays an important role in efforts to rebuild and consolidate the state. The study examines the extent to which IDA interventions effectively contribute to strengthening the capacities of the Congolese state and to bringing about lasting institutional transformation. It draws on a documentary analysis of scientific literature, institutional reports, and documents relating to IDA interventions in the DRC.
