Abstract
China’s Expansionist Policies and Their Geopolitical Impact on South Asia

Abstract:
China's expansionist policies have emerged as an important issue in geopolitics of South Asia. This policy umbrella will enclose China's territorial claims, military force, investments in infrastructure and network, and strategic alliances. To expand its economic and political presence in South Asia, China has promoted the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).China, however, has developed its economic and political involvement in South Asia through its Belt and Road Initiative, the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), etc. These projects are being provided as a means for development and connectivity but creating problems about debt dependency, jurisdiction and future strategic under control.
