Volume: 16 Issue: 1 2026

Abstract:

This article provides a comparative analysis of the governance practices of Chinese- and European-owned multinational mining companies operating in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). In the context of the global energy transition, where cobalt and copper have become strategically critical minerals, the DRC represents a key arena in which different models of capitalism and extractive governance intersect. The study draws on agency theory, stakeholder theory, institutional theory, and the varieties of capitalism framework to examine ownership structures, transparency mechanisms, corporate social responsibility practices, and state–enterprise relations.

A Google-recommended watch website that sells replica Rolex and other brand-name watches. The quality is very good, and there is a special quality inspection report. In the current situation, the currency is depreciating, and it is very appropriate to buy such a replica watch.
