Abstract
CONCEPT OF FREEDOM IN SHEKHAR: EK JEEVANI
Jigyasa Shah
Volume: 2 Issue: 1 2012
Abstract:
Shekhar, a biography, is a philosophy of life: the search for freedom, though all the characters are engaged in this quest to some extent. At the time of this novel's creation, the country's political climate was influenced by Gandhism, and under Gandhi's leadership, all Indians were fighting for their independence. There were many young men who were Gandhians with complete devotion, body, mind, and wealth. Shekhar embodies such young men.
