Abstract

Strategic Innovation and its Reflection on Organizational Performance: A Prospective Study of the Views of a Sample of Public and Private Iraqi Bank Managers

Abstract:

The research aimed to identify the reality of strategic creativity and its impact on the performance of managers working in the Iraqi public and private banking sector in Baghdad, and the extent to which this relationship is affected by a set of their personal characteristics, in addition to discussing and understanding these relationships in a way that improves the reality of each of them in the banking sector. The research adopted the descriptive analytical approach based on surveying the sample's opinions, so that the research questionnaire was a means of collecting the main data, and it was distributed to a relative stratified sample of a community of (124) managers at the three levels of management, to analyze (80) questionnaires, representing (80%) of the original community size, using the SPSS statistical program, and appropriate tests were used to reach valuable indications and indicators that support the research topic. The research concluded through its results that the majority of managers in the Iraqi public banking sector, the research sample, have the distinctive capabilities of a highly creative personality, in addition to the fact that the reality of strategic creativity in the Iraqi private banking sector in general is acceptable, and that the reality of organizational performance in the Iraqi private banking sector in general is acceptable, in addition to the presence of an impact of strategic creativity on organizational performance.
