Abstract
VARA MAASA PATHRIKALU - SAHITYA SEVA
G. Sukanya
Volume: 4 Issue: 1 2014
Abstract:
It is not an exaggeration to say that the newspapers of that time are credited with having perfumed the poetry of the national movement at its birth. The Sahitya Seva of weekly and monthly periodicals have been praised in the world of Telugu literature. There is an inextricable relationship between literature and society. Literature tries to reflect the changes in the society. "Society is the strongest reason for the birth of a poet" said Acharya G.V. Subrahmanyam's words show the connection of literature with society. Similarly, Narla's words that "Patrikokkatunna chalu ten vela sainyamu" express the necessity of a newspaper in Kaloji's words "Okka Sirachukka Lakh Medalla Mukuru".
